Here is our list of the 7 best ghost photograph sites on the Internet.

To quality the sites needed to have lots of good ghost images and paranormal resources which would be interesting to both professional and amateur ghost hunters. Many of these sites also include pictures of haunted houses.

1. Ghost Reserach.org

Lots of variety here such as “Red Spectre in the Forest”, “Ectoplasm”, and “Confederate Ghost”. Warning: Their images are copyrighted, so don’t make their ghosts mad by illegal downloads.

2.Best Ghost Photos Ever Taken

This list is generally believed to be untouched and has not been manupulated, although several are known fakes. The author is very honest about it. However, there’s some real ghost gold here with Lord Combermere, the Ghost of Boothill Cemetery and the Railroad Crossing Ghost. Loads of good ghost story content too.

3.Ghost Study Gallery

This list has some really intriguing old photograhs such as the young child playing on the floor with a ghost playmate. The Ghost at the Old Cabin is interesting because it used to be a general store.

4. Spirit Photo Tour

This is particularly good because you get explanations from a ghost expert on why he thinks the images may be real or fake. Lots of antique stuff here, and that’s always fun to sift through.

5.Ghost Images from Bing

This is a hodge podge of good ghost images collected from all over the place. It’s like going through a bargain bin at your favorite ghost store. I think the woman’s ghost photographed at the old warehouse by the sea is noteworthy. Lots of fantastic content here.

6. Ghost Pictures Your Daily Spook

There are tons of good ghost stuff here. I love the Orb, the Cherub and the Church of St. Nicholas. Also, the Female Skeletal Ghost in Brooklyn Cemetery is worth a look.

7. Getty Images

We included this site which is chock full of lots of different kinds of ghost images because of its variety. If you’re looking for a good ghost image or Halloween image, not necessarily a paranormal one, you’ll find a huge selection here.

I hope you enjoy this list and that it will give you a lot of ghost costume ideas for Halloween. All it takes is a little imagination and creativity and you’ll have a fantastic costume that will turn heads.

Fredrick Loren, played by none other than Vincent Price, of course, is the host of the murder party and his guests, who can’t figure out why they have been invited, are given the challenge of spending the night in his haunted manse. Anyone left alive or sane or both by morning, gets $10,000.

I’m not sure how much $10,000 really was in 1959 compared with today’s dollars, but apparently, it probably was enough to keep guestsfocused as they come in closer contact with the grim reaper instead of their favorite banker.

It’s loads of fun because it absolutely couldn’t get stupider, but underneath all the layers of ghostly shenanigans it actually has a plot, somewhere. And these ghosts show a good sense of design and taste because their haunted venue is more of a modern and interesting Frank Lloyd Wright house.

The characters are almost yawningly predictable because we have the test pilot, a young girl who screams so much it can actually make your own throat hurt, as well as Robert Mitchum’s real life sister. And then there’s the skeleton who pops up so much he actualy gets billing as himself.

My favorite line: ” So far tonight, one of us was almost killed by a falling chandelier,, one of us has been driven to the brink of absolute hysteria, and one of us is dead. Were these accidents?”

Hello- noooo.

“…And we must stay here for another six hours..”

Fortunately, we won’t have to endure it all that long since the move is only 90 minutes.

The shining is about another frustrated writer being haunted by ghosts while he's trying to write the great American novel. Not only does he grow mad but somehow we don't care in this stopped up drain plot.

Hollywood loves the story lines involving frustrated writers being haunted by ghosts. Jack Torrance is another example of a poor writer attempting to write the great American novel amidst irritating ghosts who won’t let him alone.

Jack’s day job, or winter job, is to caretake the giant Overlook Hotel that is isolated high in the Oregon mountains. His only companions are his mousey but sympathetic wife Wendy and their telepathic talented little son, Danny.

Problem is they’re bored literally out of their minds. Jack slowly grows mad just as the previous crazy caretaker who had killed his family. This probably proves there must be something in the water, or in Jack’s case, the booze, but as the snail paced plot slowly progresses, we simply don’t care.

We do get a little suspense as Wendy tries to call for help to the outside world via an ancient radio, which some younger viewers might find a little confusing. Why couldn’t she have text messaged for help? Please remember it was 1980 and this was a ghost thriller, not science fiction.

So they must resort to Danny’s immature telepathic abilities but he finally makes mental contact with Halloran, who is the hotel’s chef. Halloran is vacationing in Miami which is exactly where some of us would have probably been instead of that ice wilderness. Halloran manages to somehow get there driving a snow cat but loses the battle with the now totally deranged Jack. But Wendy and Danny are saved as Jack ends up freezing to death in hotel’s weird hedge maze , which seems appropriate considering…

It’s not one of the best ghost stories; a little on the boring side. When your ghosts are demonic child twins, an old lady in room 237 and the murderous caretaker with bits and pieces of flashbacks there really isn’t a whole lot to work with here.

The Others is another one of those we’re- dead- but- we- don’t- know- it- movies.

Nicole Kidman plays a young Mom who lives with her two children in an old God-forsaken house somewhere in Jersey (not New Jersey) during WWII. The children have been stricken with some strange disease which causes them to be light sensitive.

The story unfolds beautifully as Nicole notices more and more evidence that she and the children, as well as a trio of friendly but weird servants, are indeed dead.

I especially like the scene where her husband returns for a brief visit. We discover he’s also dead, which is not particularly surprising based on his unusual behavior.

Several families attempt to live in the old house and are chased out by the ghosts. It’s very even, well told, well written and well acted. A very good choice for a movie night with friends.
Warning: You may have to watch it twice in order to understand all of it.

Our favorite ghost movies of all time countdown will continue until Halloween. Our goal is to get 100 of the scariest, most ghoulish suspenseful ghost flicks up so we’ll have a good movie list to watch this fall as we get into a Halloween mood.

1. The Uninvited, 1944

This is the typical ghostly set-up with a composer, Roderick Fitzgerald, who needs a quaint large house to write his music in. Roderick(love the name) and his sister Pamela decide to buy the Devonshire manse, Windward. The fact that it’s pretty cheap should have been a clue, but never mind.

Commander Beach, the owner, sells it in spite of his beautiful but somewhat disturbed granddaughter Stella’s objections. Lots of strange events start happening, including the old standby in every haunted movie I’ve ever seen where animals wail. Whiskers the cat refuses to go upstairs.

Anyway, to make a long ghost story a little shorter, Stella visits and even more weird things occur as she recalls her early childhood in the old odd house. She gets cold in certain rooms, etc. As we know that’s a sure sign of paranormal activity.

Then there’s the seance which is really a gas. Stella goes into some sort of trance and starts speaking Spanish. Plenty of suspense. Seance scenes are always my favorites in ghost movies.

Later, a woman’s ghost appears and reappears and gets more dangerous as Roderick and Pam delve deeper into the history of the strange house and stranger family and finally-

but I won’t give the ending away.

It’s a good story; a little complicated, but fun for a chilly night with hot buttered popcorn. Well made and good acting.

Are you going to be a ghost this Halloween?

This is probably the most fun to dress up as because there is so much you can do with a ghost character. You can be a nice cute friendly ghost or you can be an absolute terror. It really depends upon what you like and far you want to go with it.

How do you get into your ghost character?

One suggestion is to think like a ghost. Do some ghost research.

Watch some old scary movies. You can get a lot of ideas and pick up techniques that have worked for generations. This can be used as you make your entrance to a halloween party, for example. Don’t simply ring the doorbell. Make it dramatic. Get your friends involved. It can be loads of fun and you’ll certainly gain a lot of attention, which is the point, isn’t it?

Another idea is to add some sounds or music to your entrance. You can record some good ghoulish stuff on your phone and play the haunted house sounds such as creaking and screams as you walk around. This will add another exciting dimension to your ghost character as you have the ghost costume getup everyone will be talking about.

Why not make a video of you starring in your own ghost production? After all, you're getting a cool halloween ghost costume, aren't you? Here are some great tips for making a fantastic ghost video.

Purchasing the exactly right ghost costume for your personality is rewarding, but why not take the fun one step farther? Why not do a video featuring you in your costume? You can do a lot of innovative things with such a video such as including it inside a Halloween party invitation.

Here is another ghostly video we found that is both fun and entertaining. I think the strong feature here is the tongue-in-cheek approach to ghost sightings. It is not taken too seriously and the narration is quite good because it keeps you captivated. You know what is about to happen, but you watch it anyway.

Why not create your own video to entertain your friends with you as the starring ghost?

Ghost Caught on Video (HD)

AMAZING! This footage will prove once and for all GHOSTS EXIST! It’s even MORE amazing than the first ghost video clips I posted. Take that skeptics! I bet you have nothing to say now!!! HA HA HA! PWNAGE! Check out www.onision.com NO SKEPTICS ALLOWED…

Are the ghosts in the video for real, or are they fake? We wer skeptical at first, but after watching it we aren't so sure anymore. Watch the video. You decide.

Are there hidden ghosts in these old photographs?

You can watch this video and judge for yourself. They’re not only entertaining for some really look real. Question is, if these are not real ghosts how did they make the images look so realistic?

Ghosts

Enjoy, BTW the very first pic with the title in front of it is there just for fun, the rest well.. it’s up to you.

What did you think? Is the ghost of the young girl, children, or old man in the car real or just touched up photography?

Of course, ghost realism is very important for your halloween haunting, but how much is too much?
